Lemon Feta Dip
Ingredients
8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
8 ounces block feta cheese, room temperature
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 tablespoons olive oil, divided
zest of 1 lemon
juice of half lemon
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
fresh chives and dill for garnish
PREP TIME: 10-15 minutes | COOK TIME: n/a | SERVINGS: 8-10
1.Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil over low heat. Add minced garlic and heat until garlic sizzles, about 2 minutes. Making sure garlic does not burn. Add red pepper flakes to garlic oil and set aside.
2. Place cream cheese and feta in food processor. Pulse until combined. Add remaining 2 tablespoons olive oil, lemon zest, juice and garlic oil and pulse until mixed well.
3. Spread into small bowl or plate and top with extra olive oil, red pepper flakes, chives, dill and fresh cracked pepper.
4. Serve with crackers and veggies.
*Can keep in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Remove from refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.*
